Timeline looking empty? Your tasks are still there, just on other dates. Looking for one task? Hover over its row, and look for the arrow at the end. Click it, and you land right on that task, months away. Back to the present? Click Today, in the toolbar.
To get around your whole plan, right-click the dates at the top. Pick Start Schedule, End Schedule, or any date you like. Choose End Schedule, and you're at the last task in your plan.
